I love finding a bargain, especially one that doesn't look like a bargain! This sweater, even close up looks way more expensive than it actually is. I stumbled across it at H&M and it was only $19.99. A chunky cable knit sweater is a classic, it's timeless, never goes out of style and is a work horse during the winter months. This one is no longer available, but I've linked another one here that is super cute and the same price, and this other one here.
This first outfit is just a simple monochromatic style, all very neutral. You could replace the white jeans with blue jeans and it would look equally cute.
In this next look I paired the sweater with black. Same accessories, and again only two colors. I love when outfits are easy, and very often the simplest ones are the best.

Now I added a pop of color - the red plaid blanket scarf softens the look with it's loose drapey folds, the plaid pattern adds boldness to an otherwise simple two tone look, and a red handbag would look amazing too.

I couldn't find anything I didn't like about this sweater. It's soft and cozy, fits me perfectly and is a great neutral shade. I generally wear a close fitting T-shirt underneath just so I don't have to wash it very often. In fact I'm probably going to have it dry cleaned so that it retains it's body and shape.
By the way, this handbag from Michael Kors is starting to feature big time. It's a perfect neutral shade, looks very similar to the Givenchy bag, but is only $298 - that's a saving of over $2000. It's a great size, and very on trend. It's well made, and kicks up the style factor on lots of outfits.
