Many of us in our middle life and beyond are well aware of the importance of a pair of specs to hand. It's as critical to normal functioning as coffee or wine. Brian and I have readers in every room of our house, indeed scattered all over the place, they get beaten up, sat on, and of course lost (by Brian)!
I'm long sighted and wear contact lenses to help me with close vision, but for long periods of reading and writing I still need the help of readers. When I attend a meeting or go out to dinner, I don't want to adorn any of the beaten up readers at home, so I had to invest in a stylish "going out" pair, that I would always keep out of the way of Brian!
These adorable Kate Spade readers in black and white were the perfect choice for me. They go with everything. I didn't want to be fussing with different colors to go with different outfits, since readers are not that important to me, I just wanted a sharp looking pair that would work for both business and looking over a dimly lit menu at night. Thank you Kate for the answer to my dilemma.
The exact same readers shown here are not available any longer, but I've linked two other black and white styles by Kate Spade that look very similar in shape and style. They're no nonsense, stylish, feminine but bold. Everything about them speaks elegance. I never leave the house without them, they go from one handbag to the next as it changes to match my outfit. They come with a cute little bright green carry case. They're definitely worth the investment at $68 if you need some smart readers, or if you're a blogger and need an accessory for your outfit!
Thank you for reading
