If you like to exercise first thing in the morning, but don't want to use up your precious time on all the other stuff that follows - showering, hair, changing clothes, make up etc. then here's how I transition swiftly from a (low impact) workout to going about my daily errands without much ado. This is really all about bringing yoga pants into the current year!
H&M Joggers // Adidas Sneakers // Splendid Cardigan // Nike Sport Bag similar here // Old Navy T-Shirt (old) // Ray-Ban Aviator Sunnies // Tom Ford Sunnies
This only works if you're not planning a sweatathon type workout. That will require a "full monty" clean up regimen obviously! This is a practical routine following a light workout either at home, at the gym, or yoga. Get a gym bag big enough for your water, a clean T-shirt, essential make up/ deodorant, sunglasses, and if you like - a change of sneaks. The Nike bag I have fits all that and my cardigan if it's chilly outside. I workout in the clothes I'm going to run my errands in afterwards. Does that sound gross? Well, I might change my T-shirt and add a cardigan, but basically, I pick an outfit that looks good enough to wear for exercise as well as a day on the go. Isn't that what we've been doing with yoga pants all these years? But here's to freshening up that look, yeah! These joggers are the best thing I've invested in recently. They're as cheap as chips, comfy as can be, and they look super cool with gym shoes or these Adidas lifestyle sneakers. There are a few brands that make this style of slim fit joggers, some over $100, but this pair from H&M is absolutely the best deal hands down at $25. I have these in a size small in two colors (I love them that much). They're obviously stretchy, high waisted, and look great hiked up a little to show some ankle. Super comfortable for working out in, and I could totally live in them - actually I almost do! So after my workout, I freshen up with some deodorant - I love this Dove Dry Spray, plus it's small enough to throw in your gym bag. I put on a clean Tee, I change into myAdidas sneaks, but that's not absolutely necessary. I touch up my makeup a little bit, add some lipstick and throw on my sunnies! My hair has to suffice as is - as you can see from the photos - it gets by!
Heres to a "no excuse" kinda day!
