The peacoat is a sporty, on the go, no nonsense piece of outerwear. Somewhere between jacket and three quarter length coat. There can be nothing more off putting than cold weather when it comes to motivating ones self to exercise. However, tennis has the advantage of really cute gear, including cute winter gear, so there is no excuse to be a weather weeny when it comes to getting yourself out there on the tennis court - unless it's raining!
Even though it's Christmas and Hanukkah next weekend, there are still plenty of party nights we can fit in between now and New Year's Eve. So whether it's a holiday gathering with friends or a more formal affair, I think the next four outfits have you covered. 1. SequinsThis first look is something I would wear to a gathering of friends or family. It's relaxed and informal, but the gold sequins and strappy heels throw the look into holiday mode. I love finding a bargain, especially one that doesn't look like a bargain! This sweater, even close up looks way more expensive than it actually is. I stumbled across it at H&M and it was only $19.99. A chunky cable knit sweater is a classic, it's timeless, never goes out of style and is a work horse during the winter months. This one is no longer available, but I've linked another one here that is super cute and the same price, and this other one here. This first outfit is just a simple monochromatic style, all very neutral. You could replace the white jeans with blue jeans and it would look equally cute. In this next look I paired the sweater with black. Same accessories, and again only two colors. I love when outfits are easy, and very often the simplest ones are the best.
This recipe is one of Brian's many specialities and one of our favorite winter meals. It's healthy, wholesome, and heart warming. Add a chunk of warm crusty bread and French butter, and that'll just about cover everyone!
Well, better over the knee than over the hill, right? Over the knee, or indeed thigh high boots are super trendy this season. I wasn't sure if I could pull this trend off. Am I too old? Would I look like mutton dressed as lamb? An old porn star perhaps (I should be so lucky)? But with a few rules I set for myself, I believe I pulled it off. My Over Fifty/Over The Knee Rules:
